Getting the new app is as simple as downloading it from your App Store.

What’s new?

The updated Hume Bank App includes a new design, easier navigation, and improvements to payments.

What’s staying the same?

You can continue to make payments, see your accounts, and manage your cards. Plus, use the handy calculators, find products, and set savings goals.

All Hume Bank App users will require a device with a minimum operating system of iOS 11.00 and Android 6.0.

I’m an existing app user, what do I need to do?

  1. Turn on automatic updates in your App Store.
  2. Log in using your existing PIN, pattern, or facial recognition. If your device hasn’t stored your details, you’ll need to log in again using your customer number and online banking password.

I’m a new app user, what do I need to do?

  1. Download the Hume Bank App.
  2. Use your customer number and online banking password to create a PIN, pattern, or facial recognition.

Don’t have auto-updates on? Here’s some tips to fix that.

How do I turn on automatic updates in the Apple App Store?

  1. Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  2. Tap Automatic Updates, then turn on Download iOS Updates.
  3. Turn on Install iOS Updates. Your device will be automatically updated to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Some updates might need to be installed manually.

How do I manually update the app in the Apple App Store?

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to the Hume Bank App to update only that app or tap ‘Update All’.

How do I turn on automatic updates in the Google Play Store?

Tap Settings and then Network Preferences and then Auto-update apps

  • Select an option:
    i) Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
    ii) Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.

How do I manually update the app in the Google Play Store?

  1. Tap Manage apps & device. Apps with an update available are labelled “Update available.”
  2. Tap Update.
